Kasi Observasi dan Informasi Badan Metereologi dan Geofisika (BMG) Maritim Tanjung Perak Surabaya, Effendy, mengatakan bahwa gerhana bulan pada 2011 akan terjadi sebanyak dua kali yakni pada 16 Juni 2011 dan 10 Desember 2011.
