After AMD released their latest processors, AMD Bulldozer, Intel is also not wanna be defeated, they release their latest Intel processor Sandy Bridge series namely Intel Core i7-2700K. From previous series, this latest series did not encounter a significant increase in capability. Intel Core i7-2700K can be said to be similar to 2600K series, the differences is only in clock speed. And the differences is also not significant, only 100 Mhz.
Intel Core i7-2700K using 4 core with 3.5 GHz frequency. With high frequency, your computer can run with high speed. If you feel less fast with this frequency, you can use turbo bost facilities that could increase your processor frequency up to 3.9 GHz. Just like any other Intel processors, Intel Core i7-2700K also comes with unlocked multiplier because this processor is also same as other processors, "K" code.
With Unlocked Multiplier, you can perform processor overclocking easily in Sandy Bridge processor series. But one thing to remember is overclocking activity can damage your processor if you used it excessively. The meaning of overclock itself is forcing processors to be able to work extra.
